In 1980 Diane became certified to teach Art: Pre-K through Adult & received her BS in Art Education from SCSU. She was introduced to Holistic Health and Education at that time and attended the Mandala Holistic Health and Education Conferences & Workshops (1980-83) in San Diego. Her Instructors were: Jack Canfield, Buckminster Fuller, Norman Cousins, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Hugh Prather, Richard Moss & Shakti Gwain (the list is lengthy).
She was Blessed to have worked with Eileen Caddy & Peter Caddy of Findhorn, Scotland. Diane pursued her Master's Course work in the ANISA Model (Holistic Education) at USIU. Smitten with the New Holistic Movement, she joined her family and became a teacher of "ONE" (Of Natural Expression), an exploration through Guided Meditation, Art, Creative Movement & Journaling. From the 90's to Present: Diane has completed Level 2 Reiki, is trained in Non-Violent Communication, Mindfulness Education & Trauma-Informed Care. She also completed a 5-year program in Mastering Alchemy. For some 30+ years, Diane has taught all ages: from babies 18 months - Seniors publicly & privately. Currently she still teaches Art & Mindfulness to high school students in Sonoma and is Manager & Facilitator at Empowerment Healing Arts Sanctuary. contact diane at: |

I am a 200-hour certified Ayurvedic Yoga Practitioner from the Dhyana Center in Sebastopol, CA. I teach yoga & simple meditation practices to youth in local schools, as well as evening yoga classes with adults. My style is defined by the meditative and harmonious flow I bring to my yoga instruction, which is a blend of Hatha and Restorative Yoga.
I am also a Certified Natural Foods Chef/Health Educator, as well as a Culinary Teacher. I've been teaching after-school vegetarian classes with youth in schools since 2009. I am very passionate about helping and empowering kids to be directly involved with their food choices.
